Adorable, Butterfly Wing panel bracelet with hand-painted, tropical Bahamas island beach scenes. This c.1950 bracelet has four rectangular, reverse-painted beach panels in vibrant colors, hand-painted directly on the reverse side of each clear Lucite dome with the name “Nassau.” Subtly sandwiched between the Lucite dome and the Sterling backing is the delicate, butterfly wing silhouette. The luminous and iridescent butterfly wing panels are linked to three precision-carved panels, each with swaying palm trees in the design. The bracelet is coated with a very rich, undisturbed, natural patina and is hallmarked by TLM Sterling England.
