Each of the eight travel shields are connected by the city, country, or geographic location they represent. They are: Kampala, Arusha, Mombasa, East Africa, Uganda, Dar Es Salaam, Nakuru, and Nairobi. Each travel shield contains a colorful, artistic representation for each location including coats of arms for Kampala, Mombasa, Dar Es Salaam, and Nairobi, a giraffe for Arusha, an African queen for East Africa, a crested crane for Uganda, and a flamingo for Nakuru. Each travel shield is inlaid on an ornate and intriguing, scroll-like designed, silver-tone panel and linked by O-rings. The bracelet is coated with a gentle, undisturbed, natural patina.
