Vintage North African Hamsa Amulet Panel Bracelet

This delicate, silver-tone, North African, Hamsa bracelet has 7 linked, hinged panels. Each 3-D engraved image on each panel is rich with symbolism: two with an African elephant, two with a pharaoh, two with a crescent and star, and one with a man wearing a tarboosh (or fez) in the center panel. Prominently dangling from the bracelet is a chain with filigree Hamsa hand amulet with two thumbs pointing up to provide protection, good fortune, and a symbolic gesture of peace. The bracelet is coated with a very rich, undisturbed, velvety natural patina and is hallmarked with a crescent moon and star.
