Intricately designed, Aztec calendar perfume pendant in .925 sterling silver, skillfully made in Mexico by silver jewelry artisans. The Aztecs were fantastic record keepers and their sun stone calendar, very similar to the Maya calendar, is a sacred, solar calendar with a remarkably accurate and complex dating system. It was created by skilled mathematicians to mark time and to predict changes that would affect their survival and destiny and was not created to predict a “doomsday” as it is commonly perceived. Instead it reinforced the belief of rebirth, that when one cycle ends another begins.

Suspended from the included 24-inch long, sterling silver, rope chain necklace, is the perfume pendant that opens and can secretly stash your favorite fragrance, perfumed oil, or perhaps something even more secretive. Conveniently placed inside the pendant is a screw-top dauber that permits easy access to the secret contents inside. The calendar design is on one-side of the perfume pendant and both the pendant and the necklace have a shiny finish with a light patina, but may need a light polish if desired.
