Beautiful vintage, Roman goddess, Pomona, with her arms affixed in the traditional goddess pose (“Utkata Konasana”), symbolic of power, force and strength. In her left hand, she carries an autumn wreath, and in her right, an orchard fruit reminiscent of flourishing fruit trees and gardens. Pomona is believed in ancient Roman mythology to be the personification of the season, autumn, as she blesses the tide with a bountiful harvest and makes the trees bear fruit. She is also a conveyor of fruitful abundance which includes love, fertility, sex and blossoming. The goddess also embodies the maternal stages from conception, pregnancy and childbirth.
