Vintage Bolivia Pewter Pendant by Tiahuanaco Jewels

www.ayquebella.com
Bold, powerful, and attention-grabbing, oxidized pewter pendant, made in Bolivia by Tiahuanaco Jewels. This 3-dimensional, Pre-Columbian Inca warrior, fashioned with ceremonial jewelry, gilded armor, and feathered headdress, bears a striking resemblance to Inti, the national patron of the Inca state. The ancient Tiwanaku culture of Bolivia and Peru believed him to be the son of Viracocha, the supreme god of the Inca, who created the earth, heavens, sun, moon, and all living beings, and is revered to be one of the most important of all deities in the Inca pantheon.

Glorious metalwork, art, and design are evident in this massive pendant, with just the right amount of oxidation to enhance the precision artistry. The pendant is almost all solid pewter, with a small copper hallmark detail on the reverse side. It is an outstanding statement piece to be displayed on your favorite necklace or chain and a definite conversation starter!
