Vintage Spain Senorita Fine Silver Brooch

ayquebella.com

Flamboyant and sexy, Spanish Señorita Brooch in Fine European Silver. Reminiscent of 19th Century Spain, this remarkable brooch is of the face of a beautiful Spanish mujer, dressed in her traje de faralea (Spanish dress) with accessories unique to Spanish culture. Her hair is combed back into the traditional hair bun chignon and atop her head is a whimsical peineta (decorative hair comb) awaiting placement of her mantilla (lace veil). From her ears, hang her large, tightly coiled aretes (earrings) and gently framing the sides of her head, and just below a peek of her neck, is her abanico de puntilla, her lace hand fan, to beguile and enchant onlookers while she performs her dance with drama and beauty. With her closed eyes, her provocative face evokes the romance and passion of Flamenco dance and Spanish culture.

This gorgeous fine silver pin has a gentle, undisturbed, natural patina and may need a light polish if desired, and there is a slight bend to the brooch pin. It is a very lovely and authentic piece of rich, Spanish heritage.
