Charming and traditional, Incan brooch was skillfully handcrafted by an Ecuadorian artisan or artisans. This lovely Ecuadorian woman is dressed in traditional finery with a large, upturned, brimmed hat and carrying a small child on her back. In her path is the invaluable llama. Llamas are best known for their wool, but they also have keen eyesight and can act as guards, protecting other herds from potential predators. A classical image of Ecuatoriano life.

This beautiful brooch is coated with an undisturbed, natural patina and is a very fine and authentic piece of rich, Ecuadorian folkloric culture.
