Religious festivals held on the day of the Feast of Corpus Christi, celebrate the presence of Christ in the Eucharist where people dress and dance as Diablos Danzantes, or Dancing Devils, to fulfill promises made to the Blessed Sacrament. – Very similar to Mardi Gras in New Orleans! This event has been added to UNESCO’s Representational List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
