Vintage Maya Chac Mool of Temple Chichen Itza Sterling Silver & Enamel Cuff Links

ayquebella.com

Handsome pair of cufflinks of pre-Columbian, Mesoamerican Chac-Mool statue in sterling silver. The Chac-Mool (or Chacmool or Chaacmol) depicts a reclining rain spirit warrior, with his head turned to one side, supporting himself on his elbows with his knees bent, and holding a bowl or a disk on his stomach. The ancient sculptures of Chacmool represent slain warriors carrying sacrificial offerings to the gods. These wonderful cuff links have a very light patina and will look very handsome on your favorite shirt.
