Such beautiful detail on this whimsical and petite brooch by English jewelry maker, BJL. The brooch is of a loyal and hardworking donkey or mule carrying a basket of colorful flowers at its side. The marcasite on this beautiful, hallmarked brooch is in excellent, vintage condition, but a wee bit of the enamel on the front and a wee bit of the rhodium plating on the reverse side shows minor signs of wear and aging which is completely undetectable when worn. This wonderful and adorable brooch is so very cute and will look great on virtually every outfit!
