This wonderful Creole woman delicately balances a basket of tropical fruits on her head with one hand, and beneath her, hand-carved, is a name of abundant pride, Haiti. This wonderful brooch shows signs of wear and aging, including a few nicks and scratches and some rust on the pin on the back.
