Such a gorgeous and lovely piece of wearable Spanish history! The peseta was the currency of Spain between 1869 and 2002. This beautiful pendant/brooch is of a Spanish peseta coin that has been cut-out to highlight an iconic image of Spanish coinage, Hispania rested over the Pyrenees holding an olive branch. The word, España and the year 1870 have also been skillfully carved out of the coin. The coin has been artistically set into an exquisite filigree frame to further emphasize its delicate beauty.
