The color of the blue enamel on this wonderful pendant is a richer blue which is a deeper color than typically found on the actual bandera nacional (“national flag”) which adds to the intensity of the pendant. The pendant shows minor signs of wear and aging to the enamel on the front and on the silver on the back which are almost undetectable to the casual observer.
