What a charming and traditional, Incan storyteller, 5-dangle charms silver brooch, skillfully handcrafted by an Ecuadorian artisan or artisans! Each hammered, circular dangle contains a 3-dimensional image of classical Ecuadorian life. The first charm is of a llama; the second charm is of a smiling woman wearing the traditional large, upturned brimmed hat and carrying a vase; the third charm is of a rooster; the fourth charm is of a woman carrying a bundle tied on her back (most likely her child); and the fifth charm is a of a man playing the panpipes (the Andean pan flute.)

The main focal point of the brooch which showcases all five dangles is a stately, Incan woman with strong and regal features wearing two side braids tied and draped with “ribbons,” and framing the sides of her head. Each dangle is connected to the main body of the brooch by O-rings. This beautiful brooch is such a very fine and authentic piece of rich, Ecuadorian folkloric culture!
